Hi.

Good news is rare these days, and every glittering ounce of it should be cherished and hoarded and worshipped and fondled like a priceless diamond.

Secrets of Armenia to Arrive in Las Vegas this Autumn

Secrets of Armenia to Arrive in Las Vegas this Autumn

This October, Las Vegas will host Armenia’s piano masterpieces by composers unknown until now, brought to life by Mikael and Yulia Ayrapetyan.

September 27, 2025 — Trade the desert's rhythm to discover the Secrets of Armenia in this rare piano concert. It is a promise to an elegant evening of classical musical discovery whose ancient culture and legacy have inspired a heart of gold.

Mikael Ayrapeytan, the visionary of this movement, alongside his talented wife Yulia Ayrapeytan, founded the Secrets of Armenia with one mission in mind and heart: to show the world the work of unknown Armenian composers.

Their second concert, which is part of a worldwide series, will take place at the Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, to perform piano works by Khachaturian (fragments from Gayane and Spartacus ballets), Komitas, Ekamalian, Elmas, Tigranian, Spendiarov, Stepanian, Abramian, Babadjanian, Barkhudarian, Mitinyan, and Bagdasarian.

The inspiring and powerful couple welcomes an audience from all over the world, and especially a university student audience with a promise and challenge to expand the richness of their professional skills.

"When students and college professors attend our concert, they can bring attention to those names. They can expand and spread their piano repertoire," said Mikael Ayrapeytan.

"Right now, the traditional classical piano repertoire is already known. Most of classical pianists are playing that. This repertoire can showcase them in a more bright way," he continued.

Yulia Ayrapetyan talked about the beautiful contrasts of Armenian music, embroidered in folk rhythms of calm feminine energy or fast, brave battles. This portrait of character also reflects the country's different folkloric regions and faith.

"It's a pleasure to work with such a professional pianist and producer like Mikael. It is an honor to be part of this project. I began with this project when I have fallen in love with Abramian [during Mikael's performance]," added Yulia.

Secrets of Armenia is becoming a widely recognized non-profit and a unique heartbeat in the world of classical music, and beyond. Mikael and Yulia also proudly find themselves on an American Dream journey, having been invited to immigrate from Russia five years ago as extraordinary professionals. It is from the City of Angels (Los Angeles), where they now reside, that they reach out to the world.

"Maybe one day you can come to Armenia and visit this beautiful country. You will feel it in the air," said Yulia Ayrapetyan.

The Las Vegas concert is part of a worldwide series that begins in Los Angeles on September 27. It then stops in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, on October 3, before traveling to Madrid on October 17, Barcelona on October 18, and Chicago on November 22.
