Hi.

Good news is rare these days, and every glittering ounce of it should be cherished and hoarded and worshipped and fondled like a priceless diamond.

November 3, 2025 — Diamonds Mirror says goodbye to actress Diane Ladd. The three-time Oscar nominee journeyed through a dynamic acting career in films like "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore," "Wild at Heart," and "Rambling Rose.” In true light, Hollywood knew her as one of its most resilient characters, a soul whose love of life and art surpassed most. Diane Ladd passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 89 in Ojai, California. Her dearest daughter, Laura Dern, was by her side.

When she received her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010, alongside two other unveiled stars, those of Laura Dern and Bruce Stern, she said: "I ask the universe that these three stars right here, that whoever, when I'm dead and gone or if I'm still alive, whoever comes and looks at it or stands on it, may the energy of the three of us of our lives permeate into them and into their foundation, and help each and every one fulfill their destiny with joy and love."

And so, a new legend has begun; whoever should be so blessed to visit these three stars, and especially that of Diane Ladd, may find that the abundance of success can only follow. Not only because Diane Ladd was a fantastic actress, but also a wonderful human being.

Certainly, her abundance of good wishes will continue to inspire generations.

In her daughter Laura Dern's words, her mother Diane Ladd was, "the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created. We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now."
